Now, to explain this baby. I will start with the eyes. I tried to get the eyes to look like hair. If you look on her page at her deviant ID, she has the most beautiful head of hair.

The words going across the face are from her poem entitled, "Your Chemical-Based Saliva".[link] This poem is one of my favorites. It is stark, heartbreaking, and the metaphors are just awesome.

The burned paper or ash across her face is a representation of her feelings and hangups. Sometimes emotions like fear, despair and self-loathing can eat away at you. This is why the fire is burning the face of the woman.
