I got COMPLETELY wrapped up in the book The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G. Wells. [link] I was so absorbed in this book that I forgot about everything and that includes DA. I really like the message of this book which is, when do we start taking responsibility for what we have done in life? How far is to far? When is our humanity compromised and what do we do when it is compromised? Talk about deep! I then watched the movie and yelled at the TV screen. Don't bother watching the movie, LAME!

I was so into this book that I made a fractal for it. The book is very creepy and at times frightening and I tried to convey the horrors of experimenting on an unwilling animal or person in my fractal. To me the fractal looks like a brain morphing into something completely different than the original organ.

"A mind truly opened to what science has to each must see that it is a little thing. It may be that save in this little planet, this speck of cosmic dust, invisible long before the nearest star could be attained—it may be, I say, that nowhere else does this thing called pain occur. But the laws we feel our way towards… Why, even on this earth, even among living things, what pain is there?" Dr. Moreau (So creepy coming out of his mouth).
