Hotaru means "firefly" or "lightning bug" in Japanese. The little butterfly/flower/things are my little fireflies.

This is the first time I will encourage people to download and look at the details of this fractal. I am EXTREMELY please with this one.

I am very much reminded of Hotaru Tomoe (aka, Sailor Saturn) from Sailor Moon. I think she would be pleased to know that she doesn't have to be destructive. A firefly gives off light and innocence, which, in her own way, she does. ^^
