Artist's Comments

I am resubmitting my Kitana and Jade stamp. When I made the first one I was tired and slightly stupid from too much fun over the long holiday. Note to self, don't do a stamp when you are tired.

This stamp contains one of my favorite quotes. The entire quote is as followed. "The best things in life are never rationed. Friendship, loyalty, love do not require coupons." George T. Hewitt.

For some reason I thought of the relationship between Kitana and Jade. Time and time again, these two turn to each other when the going gets tough. Jade is one of the most loyal fictional characters I have ever come across. I deeply admire that quality.

Besides, who better to watch your back in times of conflict and uncertainty? That is what best friends do, right? RIGHT! So, give you best friend a big hug and tell them how much they mean to you.

This stamp is dedicated to my cousin Jodi. She may beat the crap out of me with Jade, but I love her anyway!

Can't get enough of Mortal Kombat? Addicted to stamps? Then check out the rest of my Mortal Kombat stamp collection:

Thank you :iconcenakuu:[link] for the wonderful stamp template!

I do not own Mortal Kombat in any shape or form. I am just another fan gone wild :+favlove:. Comments are welcomed and appreciated. Enjoy!

EDIT:
I changed the tweening and the timing on this stamp. The tweening got really annoying after a while.

Okay, so the text is easier to read now but I don't like the font as much and the transition between slides is more jarring. Did you put a colored filter over the top of her with each set of text?

With the Jenshi lettering, I did use some color enhancements. I personally do not like the font either, but it was the only font that would fit into the stamp as well as be bold at the same time. I did not want to use Arial because everyone uses Arial. I think I will take out the tweening. It gets tuff to look at after a while. However, what I hate most of all is the graininess of GIF files. I wish I knew how to make them in PNG, but still functioning animated stamps.

If I ever figure it out, I'll let you know.
