Another addition to my Phantom of the Opera fractal series. You guys thought I was done with the series didn't you. :giggle: Insomnia has hit me hard again, so it is back to watching movies at four in the morning.

Your Phantom of the Opera series surprised me. I would never have thought that someone would make a series of fractals inspired by it. It's a really interesting concept, and one that you've executed very well - I especially like the red/black/white colour combination. :)

Thank you so much! This series is emotionally important to me. I am trying to get back on my feet from twelve years of undiagnosed depression as well as five years of undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress. Sleeping is at times EXTREMELY difficult. So, I watch movies or anime or listen to music and dream. I came up with the series after four days of insomnia. Since then, it has been a sort of emotional venting for me and I think it shows.

I love the combination of red, black, and white. I try and use it as much as possible without wearing my watchers out. :giggle:

I think it's great that you use fractal art as a form of 'emotional venting'. It means that your work has a lot of emotional content, which makes it more interesting for people to look at than an average fractal. I have felt depressed once or twice before, but nothing very serious, and only for a few weeks at most - I can't imagine what it must be like to suffer from major depression for twelve years. I am glad that you haven't allowed it to stop you from producing such great art. You are an inspiration.
